President’s Report

Festival 2020

At the 2020 Annual General Meeting Sarah Lowis gave her report and advised that she assumed the role of President on October 28, 2020 upon the resignation of Lynne Grossutti who had previously filled the role, and that other serving Directors, Michelle Bruce and Pamela Wood, also resigned. She confirmed that herself, Tegan Ceschi-Smith, and Janice Brunson were appointed as Directors in their place at the October 28, 2020 Board meeting. Sarah thanked Lynne, Michelle and Pamela for their dedication and tremendous contribution to the SCFPA over the years, and welcomed the new Directors. She also expressed her gratitude for the hard work of all the volunteers leading up to the cancellation of the 2019/2020 Festival due to COVID as well as all the Directors in the transition. She shared her appreciation for having the opportunity to work with a great group of volunteers, and is looking forward to being a part of the team to deliver an outstanding 2020/2021 Virtual Festival.
