David Poon

David Poon’s second-greatest joy is providing sacred music for liturgical contexts: he founded MOTET Chamber Choir and Vespersong, regularly plays for mass at Holy Rosary Cathedral, and works as Assistant Director of Music for St. John’s Vancouver.

However, he is equally at home outside of church, playing piano for Coast Messiah Choir and Choralations; and harpsichord and viol for early music gigs. His other joys are found at home: too many board games, not enough cheese, and just the right family size: four children and his wife, cellist-conductor-gambist-teacher Sarah.
