Onalee Groves, B.A., M.A.I.S.

Onalee, or Onnie as she prefers to be called, has a long history of being both a volunteer and an employee in the arts. Onnie worked as the Manager of Arts and Culture for the City of Barrie for 28 years. During her employment she managed 2 theatres, oversaw many large scale events, and supported the arts through providing cultural grants to local organizations, and honouring them at an annual arts awards program. Onnie has an undergraduate degree in Gerontology, a diploma in Social Work and a Masters Degree of Integrated Studies, where her major was cultural studies.

Onnie is passionate about the arts and possesses a grade 10 piano and a grade 3 violin from the Royal Conservatory. She is excited to be a part of the SCFPA and looks forward to assisting this great organization in any way she can.
